Introducing Andrew Mein – the face of Contlaw

The customer focus of Contlaw stems directly from the company’s owner, Andrew Mein. With almost 20 years’ experience in the IT sector – including several years as Technology and Information Systems Manager at Aberdeen City Council – Andrew decided to set up Contlaw in 2010 to provide an IT support service that was responsive, jargon-free and affordable.

With certifications by Microsoft and Novell in desktop and server technologies, there’s no doubting Andrew’s IT capabilities.  Already, Contlaw has an impressive track-record of resolving technical and IT issues quickly and effectively.

Apart from this technical know-how, the other key factor in Contlaw’s success to date has been Andrew’s understanding of how business works. Smaller businesses and freelance operators in particular appreciate the value of this insight – not forgetting the confidence it gives to all our home computer customers!

In setting up Contlaw Computer Solutions, Andrew saw that there were many small businesses that had a need for professional IT support – but only on an ad hoc or occasional basis.  Taking on full-time IT staff or commiting to long-term maintenance contracts is seen by many small businesses as unnecessary and unaffordable.
